They are relatively inexpensive and can be set to record temperature at pretty much at any interval.

I then used the program Raven from Cornell Lab of Ornithology to convert the temperature into a sound wave and provide a more visual representation of the data where I could do things like select time periods. If anyone is interested and would like to chat more I’m happy to help (although it’s been a while!)
